Michael Bellofatto died on Dec. 20, 2001. He was born in Torella dei Lombardi, Avellino, Italy on March 1, 1929. He was 72 years old. Michael came to the US in 1963. He resided in Port Washington since he came from Italy. Michael was a master tailor and he enjoyed soccer, gardening, and most of all, his loving family. He is survived by his wife Josephine of 48 years; his son Joseph; daughters Annamarie and Ida; grandchildren Christina, Michael and Joseph; his brother Antonio and sister Dora D'Agostino. He was predeceased by his brothers Carmine, Andrea and Giovanni and a sister Concetta. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington.
