How lucky we are in Port Washington to have such a dedicated and selfless group of volunteers in our Fire Medic Co. #1. They give so freely of their personal time, first to be trained and then to make themselves available to answer every call for their services day and night, all the while continuing to keep on training. Their level of professionalism is unparalleled and their sacrifices are legion.

I thank each and every one of them for being there for all of us and I speak from my own and my family's experience.
