Vandals broke two windows on the northwest corner of the Diwan Indian Restaurant, located at 37 Shore Rd., the night of Sept. 11. Then, some time between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, a person or persons unknown threw a rock through the front window of the Dunkin Donuts in Manorhaven, on Shore Road, where several of the employees are middle-eastern. Every level of the PW School District sprang into action on Tuesday, Sept. 11, a now infamous day, as the horrific terrorist attacks unfolded in Manhattan and in Washington D.C.
