On Sunday, Aug. 5, at noon, the Town of North Hempstead is proud to present the Dennis Walters Golf Show. "He beats his handicap every time he plays," is the theme for this remarkable man. Dennis Walters is the only person paralyzed below the waist who earns a living as a professional golfer. He performs his show in association with the Professional Golfers' Association of America - the only golf performer to enjoy this distinction.

Dennis Walters' show is one hour that's packed full of entertainment. The show is a program not only of golf lessons but also lessons in life. It is a unique hour that is seasoned with homespun humor and audience participation. Juniors and seniors derive a special benefit from Dennis' show. Juniors learn they can overcome any obstacle with a little ingenuity and a lot of hard work. Seniors realize that minor aches and pains don't have to slow down their game.
