Thomas N.R. Dumpson, 66, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Port Washington, died on May 11, 2001. Tommy was a member of the second class to graduate from Paul D. Schreiber High School in 1954. During his his school years he became well known for his athletic and whistling talents. While in high school he appeared on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour, whistling Ebb Tide and drew rave reviews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lily; his wife, Patricia Walker; and his daughter, Michelle. He is survived by his children, Gerald, Patricia, Barbara, Marie and Richard; his brothers, William and Paul; and his sisters, Lillian Hawkins, Frances Moses and Dorothy Calinda. He is also survived by one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law, eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Memorial service on June 16 at Protection Engine Co. #1.
Angela Balducci, 69, of Port Washington, died on June 17, 2001. Angela was predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Balducci; her sisters, Grace Herrmann, Nancy Guido, Anne Balducci and Louise Kreuger. She is survived by her sister Frances Hoover; nine nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and three great-nephews. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington.
