Over the past few months I have often been asked if I would again be a candidate for a seat on the Board of Education. While the decision has not been an easy one, my answer is an unequivocal yes. Since both Mr. Baer and Mr.Nardone have decided not to stand for reelection, the majority of the remaining board members will have served less than a full year. Yet, whether or not the proposed bond has passed, upcoming boards will be faced, as current member Mr. Ferro has stated, "... with making tough choices." The knowledge and experience I acquired as a former trustee have provided me with the requisite, valuable skills which would be of benefit in resolving these challenges. I believe I have the time, energy and commitment necessary to appropriately and effectively serve both our students and community well.
