Anna Intintoli, 78, of Port Washington, died on March 5, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband Alfonso. She is survived by her children Josephine Silverman (Steve), Carmine (Luz), Anne Friedman (Norman), Lina Gottesman (Robert) and Roseanne Dyson (Russell); nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Anna was the sister-in-law of Palma Petito, Florence Toth, Elvira D'Amelio, Joseph and Ralph Intintoli. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Charles Anthony Ramos, 60, of Boca Raton, FL, died on March 5, 2001. Charles was born Oct. 9, 1940 in Jackson Heights. He was a long time resident of Port Washington. He graduated from Port Washington High School, Babson College and Suffolk University of Boston, MA. He served in the US Marines for six years and moved to Boca Raton in 1985. Husband of Jeanne. Father of Savatore Cacciatore of Manhasset, Christina Williams of Boca Raton, Julianne Ramos of California and Brian Charles Ramos of New York. Brother of Carla Schuster of New York and Ann Zanella of Pennsylvania. Grandfather of Hunter Jackson and John Temple Williams. Arrangements were made by Robert J. Babione Funeral Home, Boca Raton. Irene Baker (nee Johansen) of Sebring, FL, formerly of Port Washington, joined the Church Triumphant on March 10, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Roy (Pat) Baker. Irene is survived by her three children, Roy Baker Jr. (Sebring, FL), Richard Baker (Bethpage) and Lynn Tonning (Jacksonville, FL). Cherished "Mom Mom" of 10 and great-grandmother of 14. Irene was very active in the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, Port Washington, and Hope Lutheran Church, Beverly Hills, FL. Memorial service is planned for late April in Sebring, FL, at The Palms, where Irene was a resident.
