Sarah P. Dodge died on Jan. 20, 2001 in Tallahassee, FL. A native of Charlotte, NC, she moved to Port Washington when she married Wilson H. Dodge in 1936. Wilson was related to the Dodge family who settled in Port Washington (Cow Neck) in the early 1700s. She moved to Tallahassee in 1992. Her daughter, Pamela P. Barlow and son-in-law Robert K. Barlow Jr. of Tallahassee and grandson Robert K. Barlow III of Jacksonville, Fl, survive her. Nate Bernhard, formerly of Port Washington, died on Feb. 3, 2001. Husband of the late Frances. Father of Amy Smith (Howard), Steven (Kathy) and Linda Grossman (Dennis). Grandfather of Jeffrey, Stephanie, Joshua, Alison, Robert and Michelle. Brother of Ruth and Ben. Arrangements were made by the Gutterman's Funeral Home, Woodbury. Michael A. Sarluco Jr., 52, of Port Washington, formerly of Hicksville, died on Feb. 7, 2001. Husband of Barbara. Father of Michael. Son of Michael A. Sr. and Margaret. Brother of Linda (James) Perini, Margaret (Frank) Kircheim and Rosemary (Paul) Lehmann. Uncle of 10 nephews and one niece. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery. Contributions can be made, in Michael Sarlucco's memory, to Cancer Care, Inc., PO Box 611, Port Washington, NY 11050. Anthony J. Pucciarelli, 84, of Port Washington since 1940, died on Feb. 16, 2001. He was past commander of American Legion Post #509 and an active member for more that 50 years. He was affectionately known to many as the "Mayor of the Mill Pond." He is survived by Concetta (nee Scarangello) who has been his wife and love of his life for 60 years.Caring and devoted father of Antoinette (Charles) Zawolik, Christina (Joseph) Sova, Grace (Michael) Bellomo, Anthony (aka Lad) and John. He was a wonderful "Papa" to his 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 11 siblings and is survived by his sister, Cecilia (Joseph) Ruggiero of Staten Island and many nieces and nephews.
