Bruno Click, 92, lifelong resident of Port Washington, died recently. Husband of 60 years of the late Joanna "Jenny" Rava. Father of Robert. Brother of John Klick of Greenvale, Ted Klick of NJ and the late Josephine Click Faulk of Port Washington, Lottie Kott of Huntington and Ann Farrell and Alice Weber of Syosset. Grandfather of Robin Click of East Marian, NY and Kim of Honolulu, HI. Godfather of Beverly Waterson, Paul Faulk of Port Washington, Robert Faulk of Florida, Lorraine Faulk Erickson of Williston Park. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Click was surrounded by many friends and dearly loved over the years by many students of the Flower Hill School in Port Washington. He was a 50-year member of the Polish American Citizens Association of Port Washington. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian Burial on Jan. 4 at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.

Kenneth C. Verruso, a resident of Port Washington for 33 years, died on Jan. 26, 2001. He was 61 years old. Ken was born on May 4, 1939 in NYC and resided there until the early 1950s when his family moved to Flushing,Queens. He attended C.W. Post College but interrupted his studies to join the Marine Corps in the early 1960s. His Honorable Discharge is dated May 7, 1969. Ken managed two family-owned businesses in Port Washington - Munde's Restaurant and Rohan's Liquors and lately had been a supervisor at Publisher's Clearing House. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia, and their three daughters, Alyssa, Kendra and Kimberly. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Bernadette Hanley Rice, Feb. 1, 1928 - Jan. 27, 2001. She is survived by her husband James Blayney Rice; her six children, Mary, James, Thomas, Lillian, Bernadette and Brigid; and her nine grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Peter's Parish for over 40 years as well as a member of the St. Francis Guild for many years. A caring and compassionate wife, mother and friend, she touched the lives of many and will be loved and missed forever. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Funeral Home, Manhasset.
