The Incorporated Village of Manorhaven has scheduled a public hearing on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall at 33 Manorhaven Blvd. The purpose of the public hearing is to obtain input relating to amending Local Law 4 of 1997. This law references the percentage of lot coverage allowable for development and controls the density of the area. The potential impact of increasing the amount of lot coverage allowed for development is of major concern, not only to the residents of Manorhaven but to everyone in Port Washington. We urge all residents to be informed and to attend this meeting.

It is unfortunate that the trustees for the Incorporated Village of Manorhaven, have scheduled this most important meeting so close to the holiday season.
