As one who participated in the Veterans Day services at our local band shell, I would personally extend my appreciation to the PW American Legion and VFW Posts. Sadly there were only about 100 people there. I become very disheartened that our great country forgets the men and women who served to preserve our democracy. I guess we have become engrossed in too much adoration for politicians, movie stars and sports people first.
