The Port Washington PAL will be offering the following activities for the Spring 2000 season. The program is open to girls and boys in kindergarten through sixth grade. The schedule is as follows:

Basketball - Skills, drills and games for girls will begin on Thursday, April 6, through June 8. Come join the team.

Fee: $70 (includes shirt) - third and fourth grade girls - 5-6 p.m.

Fee: $70 (includes shirt) - fifth and sixth grade girls - 6-7 p.m.

Program will be held at Daly Gymnasium.

Softball - For the beginner as well as the advanced. Teams will be made, games will be played. Program begins on Saturday, April 8, through June 10.

Fee: $80 (includes uniform) - third and fourth grade - 9:30 a.m.

Fee: $80 (includes uniform) - fifth and sixth grade - 10:30 a.m.

Baseball

Kindergarten Baseball - T-ball baseball. Basic fundamentals will be taught and teams will be made for game play.

Choice of Monday or Wednesday.

Monday - 4-4:45 p.m. - April 3 - June 12.

Wednesday, 4-4:45 p.m. - April 5-June 14.

Fee: $75 (includes uniform)

Practices will be held at the PAL field.

First Grade Baseball - Basic fundamentals, pitching. Teams will be made for simple game play.

Choice of Monday or Wednesday.

Monday, 5-6 p.m. - April 3-June 12

Wednesday - 5-6 p.m. - April 5-June 14

Fee: $75 (includes uniform)

Practices will be held at the PAL fields.

Baseball

Second Grade Baseball - Basic fundamentals will be reviewed. Teams will be made. Practices will be held on Friday afternoons and games will be played at the PAL field for the "Sunday Afternoon Series."

Friday, 5-6 p.m., March 31

Sunday, 3 or 4 p.m., April 2

Fee: $80 (includes uniform).

Third and Fourth Grade Boys Baseball - For boys in third and fourth grade and fifth or sixth grade. You must attend one of the following evaluation days. Teams will be made after evaluations. If you can not make the evaluation day please contact PAL at 883-1266 so that your name can be placed on the roster. This is very important!

Third and fourth Grade Boys Baseball - Games will be played Friday 6:30 p.m. or Sunday 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. One practice during the week (which will be determined by the coach). - April 2-June 11. Fee: $85 includes full uniform.

Evaluation - Daly Gym - Thursday, March 30, 4:30-5:15 p.m.; Thursday, March 30, 5:15-6 p.m.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Boys Baseball - Games will be played Monday at 6:15 p.m. or Saturday at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. One practice during the week (which will be determined b the coach). Fee: $85 includes full uniform.

Evaluations - Daly Gym - Thursday, March 30 - 6-7 p.m.
