Being a Daly parent I recently attended an outrageous Daly High School Association meeting which left me no choice but to reciprocate the underhanded actions of the two Board members, who should be ashamed of themselves, by writing this letter to you.

Mr. Sussman and Mr. Zimmerman, along with other board members, attended this particular meeting to discuss the longterm facility plans of our school district. If I had any respect for these two members and their civic duties, I lost it all on this particular night. My impression of a productive board of education has always been a cohesive group of dedicated individuals who spend endless hours deciding what will benefit their community's children. Having attended numerous Tuesday night board meetings clearly educates you that Mr. Sussman and Mr. Zimmerman are only on the Board to fulfill their own agendas and do not care at all about the community. At this particular high school association meeting they confirmed my disturbing belief and shared that they have a much cheaper alternative facility plan which they will propose in another newspaper, as opposed to discussing it with the rest of the board.

As a member of this community I am appalled by such tactics to impair the actions of the district, and be devious enough to print their ideas in a newspaper rather than bringing the plan to the board of education, to be reviewed and discussed by the board and its panel of experts. To actually support a plan with no input from the principals, faculty and the concerned parents is an outrage.

Mr. Sussman and Mr. Zimmerman, shame on you both. We as parents have invested so much time, effort and money into this district and we have a right to hear and criticize or support any plan that is discussed by a board member.
