This time, Louise Haney and Andrea Watson agreed it was a good idea to start the 1999-2000 Frostbite season with photos to capture the essence of winter sailing. (Jim Miller is believed to have sailed earlier with his son.)

The results recently received are as follows: 11/21: (11) - top skippers: 1 Doug Clark, 2 Pedro Lorson, 3 Ted Toombs. 11/28: Inquiry at the dock resulted in this information: Six boats prepared to race. One capsized, two broke booms and one gave up. Pedro Lorson/Mimi Berry won, Ted Toombs/Monica Gaylor were second and third was the father-son team of John and Nichols Silbersack.

Some nice comments were heard about the improved sailing skills of the fleet's newest competition.

Jack Loda, recently back from New Zealand, says it's good to be home. He has missed friends and has many stories to tell.
