Thanks to the baseball program at PYA this group of players has been playing and learning about baseball for the last three years. Now that for the second year in a row, the team has qualified for the Long Island Little League Sectional Playoffs it is a tribute to the PYA baseball program.
The team's next game will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. Since the Port team received a bye during the first round the location of the game has not yet been established. If you would like to come down and cheer the team on directions will be available at Lyons Field on Saturday (July 31) at 8 a.m. Let's go Port!

The PYA 10-year-old Travel Baseball Team won the Williamsport Little League District 28 Title. This is the third year in a row that Port has won the title and the second time for this squad.

The team outscored their opponents by a margin of 39-3 while the pitching staff gave up only seven hits and had 21 strikeouts over the three games.
