DETECTIVE ROBERT DELMURO, demonstrated intelligence and leadership in bringing a sensitive and multi-faceted investigation to a successful conclusion. His meritorious efforts as lead detective resulted in the arrest of eight members of the criminal enterprise known as the Mara Salvatrucha-MS13 Gang. Detective DelMuro's information-gathering in this case has also been instrumental in aiding other law enforcers in furthering their crime fighting efforts against this violent gang.

At the eighth annual PYA Hall of Fame dinner/dance held on June 19, three individuals who have made great contributions to the PYA and Port youth athletics in general, were honored. This year's inductees were Frank Giordano, Julius Picardi and Jack Summerville.
