Charles A. Zeltmann, of Port Washington, died on June 20, 1998. He was a NYC fireman for over 30 years. Predeceased by his wife Margaret. Son of Richard and his wife Roberta. Also survived by siblings, Josephine Gailing, Katharine Yake and Albert Zeltmann and predeceased by his brother Richard and his sisters Eleanore Stockdale and Annetta Diekroger. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Service at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery. Eve Dalton (ne Ohler), 83, of Port Washington, died on June 25, 1998. Wife of John Joseph. Mother of Jeanne Dalton Straub and John Edward Dalton. Grandmother of James Scott Straub. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church. Donations can be made, in Eve Dalton's name, to St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT 59004-1001.
