Kevin David Krause, 42, of Jenison, MI, died from accidental injuries on June 1, 1998. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Krause an his brother Frankie Krause. Kevin was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion, Valley City Post #356 and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Monica Krause (nee Dempsey); his children, Danielle, Teresa and Stacey; his mother Mary Ellen Krause of Florida; his mother-in-law, Marcia (George) Lewis of NC; his grandparents, Eddie and Helen Staskiewicz, Rose Dempsey, all of Grand Rapids, MI, his brother and sisters, Ginny and Joe Contino of NY, Jerri and Ulrich Nygaard of Ohio, Thomas and Denise Krause of NJ, Jeanette and Jim Mcquire, Kim and Rich Wilkens, all of NY, Dorothy and Mike O'Rourke, Helen and Lenny Marks, Jimmy and Sue Krause, Bobby Krause, all of Florida; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark and Amy Dempsey of NC, Michele Dempsey of Grand Rapids; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Arrangements were made by the Heritage Funeral Service, Alt Shawmut Hills Chapel, Grand Rapids. Funeral Mass at Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Krause Children Trust Fund, c/o Ameribank, 190 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Irene Allen, 77, of Port Washington, died on June 3, 1998. She was born in Glen Cove and lived in Port Washington for 46 years where she raised her children. She was predeceased by her husband Albert. She is survived by her children, Dennis Allen, Beverly Allen, Marilyn Ross and Bryan Allen. Also survived by her grandchildren, Renee Ross, Sigidi Harvey, Dennis Allen III and Sean Allen. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Services led by Rev. Webb on June 8. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
