Radio Announcements - 6:30 a.m.

WCBS 880 AM, WINS 1010 AM, WBAB 1240 AM, WALK 97.5 FM, 1370 AM, WBLI 106 FM, WOR 710 AM, WKJY 98.3 FM, WHLI 1100 AM, Channel 12 News.

Fire Department Sirens - 6:30 a.m.

For all day closing only - All three sirens (Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Polish Hall and Manorhaven Park) will sound in unison. There will be five blasts at four seconds search with a two second interval in between for a total of 30 seconds.

Delayed Openings - Bus pickup delayed one or two hours.

Schools Open - Impassable Roads

In the event that a school bus cannot get within a half block of your home, drivers will not discharge children. Drivers will radio for instruction. Whenever possible, parents will be contacted by phone and given directions for their children's safe pickup. Call 767-4318, the Port Washington Transportation Office for information.
