The Long Island Rough Riders’ “Oklahoma Strong” fundraiser raised $1,365 to support those affected by the recent spring storms. The Rough Riders dedicated 100 percent of individual ticket sales of the June 1st Double Header as well as all proceeds from a limited “Oklahoma Strong” t-shirt edition to the American Red Cross.
“We are proud to help those in need and we appreciate the generous donations and support from the Long Island soccer community” Rough Riders Vice-President Flavio Ferri said. “None of this would have been possible without the contributions of everyone who attended the game.”
$599 was raised from the limited t-shirt edition and $666 were made on individual ticket sales. The total amount of $1,365 will be donated to the American Red Cross.
If you were not able to attend the game and would still like to make a contribution, please visit the American Red Cross website at www.redcross.org.
