•Plainview-Bethpage Lions Club has dinner meetings on the second Wednesday of the month (except July and August), at the Marriott Residence Inn-Plainview, 9 Gerhard Rd., at 7 p.m. The club has been serving the area since 1957. Learn about risks, warning signs and treatments and hear medical specialists speak about the health issues concerning stroke and stroke prevention.
