Your subhead (regarding the front page article in last week's Plainview-Old Bethpage Herald) says "Kohler Gets maximum Sentence..."; but I bet he's released long before the actual "maximum" of 7 full years. He'll probably get out as soon as he serves the maximum 2 1/3 years; and resume his life---an option not possible for the man he killed, Gurcharan Singh. Let's see if District Attorney Rice, the sentencing judge, and the state parole board actually see to it that Mr. Kohler serves the true "maximum" 7 years of his sentence.
