Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public's help with an auto accident with personal injury in which the vehicle, which is believed to be a Nissan Altima, left the scene in Plainview.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, on Manetto Hill Road and Main Parkway in Plainview, the victim was attempting to put her son in the car seat in her vehicle at approximately 9:30 p.m. At that time, the victim's vehicle was struck by a silver/gray Nissan Altima. The vehicle then struck the victim and fled the scene north on Manetto Hill Road. The victim suffered a fracture to her leg and the child was not harmed.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information on this case of the identity of the driver of the vehicle to call 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous. A reward has been offered.
