    The New York State Commission on Property Tax Relief, chaired by Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, issued its preliminary report and is calling for a cap on the property tax cap levy of school taxes at 4 percent or 120 percent of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), whichever is less. FULL STORY

    The Plainview Water District Commissioners welcome the Plainview-Old Bethpage Auxiliary Unit's patrol vehicles to their new home-the Plainview Water District parking lot. The intermunicipal agreement with the Plainview-Old Bethpage Auxiliary Police unit occurred when they sought help from the Water District when the parking location of its four marked patrol vehicles was sold for new construction.
