This month the Lions Club welcomed guests from Canine Companions for Independence. An interesting presentation was given, followed by a demonstration with Tulane, a golden lab mix. We were amazed at Tulane's skill of picking up fallen items, response to many commands and total obedience to his owner's directions. Sarah Jean and Tracey, her mom, delighted us with many stories of their life with their dog, and the love and respect they have for one another. For more information call Debbie at Canine Companions for Independence, 631-694-6938.
