Nassau County and the Town of Oyster Bay have held preliminary discussions regarding the transfer of some county parks and roadways to the town. Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine (D-Glen Cove) announced that he supports a measure regulating sex offenders' use of the Internet to help prevent sex crimes.
