  • News: Plainview Water District Announces Michael Gelé as New Superintendent

    Plainview Water Commissioners Joel Kessler, Edward Shulroff and Kevin Langberg are proud to announce that veteran employee Michael Gelé has been named superintendent of the Plainview Water District effective September 10. Michael replaces former superintendent Paul Granger, who has accepted a job in the private sector. FULL STORY

  • News: Fire Department Responds to Call

    On Friday Sept. 14, the Plainview Fire Department responded to a report of a building fire at 6 Manetto Hill Road, The 2 Stephen Street Salon. Upon their arrival there was smoke coming from the rear of the building. The fire was contained to a dryer in the rear of the salon with no extension to the building. One person was treated for smoke inhalation. FULL STORY
