The Long Island Chili Cook-Off - a festival atmosphere bringing together businesses, families and friends to see who ranks best in their chili recipe. It is open to anyone.

The Cook-Off will include all levels of culinary expertise. Everyone will compete side by side for the coveted "People's Choice" and the official "Judged" award for the best chili on Long Island.

Admission is $7 for adults and $2 for children. You will be the ultimate judge with your bowl, spoon and official score card. There will be networking, fiddling, live bands, raffles and a kid's corner. Hot dogs, corn bread, popcorn and other foods will be available.

Come join the fun on Friday, September 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration on Round Swamp Road in Old Bethpage.
