The Plainview Water District Board of Commissioners recently toured the newly renovated Plant 2 facility on Donna Drive in Plainview. Work is nearly complete at Plant 2, where a water treatment system was recently constructed that will ensure that the quality of water conforms to the Health Departmentís highest standards and provides the cleanest and safest water possible.

Pictured (L-R) are engineer Anthony Trombino, chief construction inspector Robert Malizia, Water District Superintendent Paul Granger, Board of Commissioners Chairman Joel Kessler and Commissioner Edward Shulroff.

The Plant 2 facility is one of 12 wells in the Plainview Water District, and supplies 2 million gallons of water per day to more than 10,000 households in the Plainview-Old Bethpage area.
