BWD Group, LLC CEO, Roger Blumencranz, CW-11 Weatherman, Mr. "G" and fitness celebrity, John Basedow and more than 200 employees at BWD participated in the American Heart Association's START! kick off event.

Start! is the American Heart Association's newest cause that encourages all Americans to take up walking and other healthy habits as part of their daily routine to live longer, stronger lives. BWD is the first company on Long Island to participate in the American Heart Association's START! cause.

During the kick off, employees walked the equivalent of a mile within their company building and once they finished they were treated to a heart healthy lunch.
