James Blank, a longtime resident of Plainview, was recently elected to the governing board of Celiac Sprue Association ( CSA ), at their annual convention. Diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 1993, Blank sought to get the word out about Celiac Disease on Long Island, and New York State. His goal is to make a difference. He realized that the more people who know about Celiac Disease, the more people can get help and be treated for this often misdiagnosed or undiagnosed ailment. He has attended every CSA's National Conference since. Blank attended CSA's conference to master the gluten free diet and to learn more about celiac disease, a disease that not many people in the United States knew about. FULL STORY
