Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District recently welcomed Eileen Hodrinsky as the new Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. Hodrinsky formerly held the same title in the Valley Stream Union Free School District where she had established several organizational structures to build leadership and commitment to the school improvement process. Here at Plainview-Old Bethpage she hopes to provide a comprehensive approach to education for both the students and the staff.

Hodrinsky received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Queens College, her Master of Science in Reading Specialization from C.W. Post and her School District Administrator Certification from Dowling College. She was a co-presenter at the 2006 annual Nassau/Suffolk School Law Conference regarding current mandates for schools.
