Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives report multiple arrests for promoting prostitution that occurred in Jericho and Plainview on June 6 and June 7.

Detectives report that Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives arrested Ebony Gilreath, 21, of Roosevelt, at a motel in Plainview on June 6 at 2:48 p.m. Detectives arrested Shaneesa White, 21, of College Park, GA and Keith Cowan, 23, of Riverdale, GA, at a motel in Jericho on June 7 at 12:25 p.m. White and Cowan were in custody of White's daughter, 4, at the time of arrest. Detectives arrested Claudinette Rodriguez, 38, of Miami Beach, FL at a hotel in Plainview on June 7 at 3:15 p.m. Detectives arrested Victoria Finley, 21, of Orlando, FL, at a motel in Plainview on June 7 at 3:42 p.m.

Detectives report that all of the female defendants solicited clients by advertising through the "Craig's List" website on the Internet. Gilreath, Rodriguez, Finley and White were each charged with Prostitution (B Misdemeanor). White was additionally charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A Misdemeanor). Cowan was charged with Promoting Prostitution 4th Degree (A Misdemeanor), Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th Degree (B Misdemeanor) and were arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead.
