    Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto and Kids Helping Kids by Kids Way, Inc. co-Founder Philip M. Eslick, a resident of Old Bethpage, recently announced the winners of the “Kids of Distinction” program, created last year to recognize exceptional youngsters in the Town of Oyster Bay. FULL STORY

  • News: Water District Commissioners Show Third-Graders Their Appreciation

    In appreciation for participating in their Arbor Day celebration, Plainview Water District Commissioners Kevin Langberg, Joel Kessler, and Edward Shulroff recently presented third-graders in Lorraine Cullen's class at Pasadena Elementary School with photo memorabilia. On Arbor Day, Ms. Cullen and her class joined the commissioners in planting trees at the water district's Plant 4 facility. The trees that the water district selected were planted to help make our water cleaner and safer for drinking. FULL STORY
