Detectives recently reported the arrest of Efrem Russel, a 44-year-old Brooklyn resident, who was charged with robbery and burglary, both in the first degree.
According to detectives, on Oct. 17, 2005, at approximately 3:10 a.m. the suspect entered a Central Park Road home, woke up the residents demanding money and jewelry. At the time of the robbery, the home was occupied by four people - a mother, father and their two daughters. No one was injured in the robbery and there was an unknown amount of money and jewelry taken.
Russell was arraigned in first district court.
