The Plainview Water District and Concerned Citizens of the Plainview Old-Bethpage Community, Inc. will be sponsoring a community information meeting with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and New York State Health Department. Catherine Carman, math teacher at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School, was recently honored with the PTA Founder's Day Award. The award, given by the Parent Teacher Association, honors a teacher in the district who has gone above and beyond for students and the community.
