Marie C. Rich, of Plainview, died on April 12, 2005. She served during WWII as a nurse in the Women's Army Corp (WAC). Wife of the late Harold C. Mother and mother-in-law of Jean R. Rich, Catherine Crennan, William and Vickie Rich and Carol and Robert Plaut. Grandmother of Kimberly, Christopher, Daniel, Nicole, Kristen, Katie, Matthew and Robie. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Religious service with Fr. George Stavropoulos presiding. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Mary Ann Bourque (nee Rafenski), of Plainview, formerly of Old Bethpage, died on April 17, 2005. Sister of Ida Dorfmiester. Aunt of Lois, Jean (Reynolds) and Janet Rafenski, Dolores VanTassell, Caroline Kielsbasa and many additional nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home.
