The Plainview- Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce recently announced Anna Goidell as their nominee for this year's 2004 Town of Oyster Bay Women of Distinction Award. Goidell and her husband Gene have been fixtures in the POB community for over 50 years and determining which category best describes and encompasses all the contributions Goidell has made will be difficult. Anna has been involved in a myriad of arts, community and civic affairs, education and humanitarian as well as volunteer organizations.
