The request for a special use permit to construct a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Plainview was opened on Tuesday, Nov. 16, but because the meeting ran late from a previous hearing, the hearing will be continued on Jan. 18, 2005.

The applicants, KFC U.S. Properties, Inc, and RP&G Group, LLC, are seeking a special use permit to construct a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant with a drive-thru window on the northeast corner of Old Country Road and Manetto Hill Road. The property is located in an 'NB' Neighborhood Business District.

The hearing will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at 7 p.m. at Oyster Bay Town Hall, which is located at 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.
