POBJFK High School senior Heather Casper and junior Benjamin Pollack were recently named semifinalists in the annual Siemens Westinghouse math, science and technology scholarship competition.

The Siemens Foundation provides more than $1 million in college scholarships and awards each year for talented high school students in the United States. By supporting talented students today, the foundation helps nurture tomorrow's scientists and engineers.

The district is proud to recognize this prestigious honor and congratulates Heather, Benjamin and their families.
