Residents are encouraged to attend the June 2 open meeting for Relay For Life. Those interested should stop by Mattlin Middle School Cafeteria anytime between 6 - 9 p.m. on June 2.
Registered teams can also pick up free T-shirts and wristbands. Anyone with a team, bring the participation envelopes and luminaria forms.
All are welcome at the Relay For Life event. The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life is an overnight event. It is a celebration of hope as the community comes together for this fun filled yet poignant evening.
The event will honor Cancer Survivors with a Free Survivor Reception for all cancer survivors and their caregivers. Honor those who are battling cancer or have battled in the past and remember those who have passed by purchasing a luminaria to light the path of hope, that cancer will be eliminated as a major health concern.
Join the comunity for Relay For Life, June 12 beginning 7 p.m. at the Plainview/Old Bethpage Middle School.
