Local residents who have visited the library in the last week noticed that construction has started. Last week, the property was cleared in preparation for pouring the concrete. Temporary electrical wiring was installed so the contractors have access to the wiring outside of the site and there is temporary lighting around the building so, for security purposes, the building will be lit. The cablevision line was also moved and re-routed. Updates will continue to appear in the Plainview Herald. Photo by Denise D'Alessandro
