Elizabeth R. Grunseich, of Plainview, died on Aug. 13, 2002. She was predeceased in 1997 by her husband Frank. Mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Peter Wimett and Frank and Lillian Grunseich. Grandmother of Joanne, Peter, Deborah, Frank and their spouses. Great-grandmother of Alana, Jenna, Tessie, Olivia, Frank IV and Daniel. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Elisabeth R. Carpenter, 80, formerly of Plainview, died on Aug. 15, 2002. She was born on Sept. 8, 1921 in New York, the daughter of the late Stanleigh and Amy (Hathaway) Russell. She attended the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church and was a member of the Plainview Reformed Church. Wife of the late Everett A. Mother of Gary Carpenter (Susan) and Elisabeth Abbot (Ray). Grandmother of Justin and Daniel Abbot and Scott Carpenter. Arrangements were made by the Shea Funeral Home, New Hartford, CT. Memorial service on Aug. 25 at 11:15 a.m. at the Plainview Reformed Chuch, 560 Old Bethpage Rd. Plainview.
