The presentation, made by Superintendent Dr. Martin Brooks and Principal Art Jonas included a plaque, a golf shirt, cap and mug with the school's logo, and Mr. Turan's name placed on the perpetual plaque in a hallway of the school. The Plainview Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce held their summer barbecue meeting at Castle Senior Living in Plainview on Tuesday, June 25.
