Vivian von Vange, formerly of Plainview, died recently at the Skyview Manor Nursing Home in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. She had suffered from advanced Parkinson's disease. She was the daughter of the late John and Selma (nee Horn) Koster. Born in the Bronx, she lived in Bethpage until moving to Crestwood Village VII, Whiting, NJ in 1982. She was married to the late Henry von Vange for 37 years. Surviving are her brother, Arthur Koster; her two daughters, Valerie (Robert Karvoski) and Denise (Peter Krones); and three grandchildren, Melanie, Robert and Ryan Karvoski. Arrangements were made by Clark Funeral Home, Yorktown Heights, NY. Interment Whiting Memorial Park Cemetery. Martin J. Tadler, of Plainview, died on April 21, 2002. Husband of Roberta. Father of Lynn Parker, Martin, Robert, Paul and the late David. Grandfather of seven. Brother of John. Arrangements were made by the M.A. Connell Funeral Home, Huntington.
