  • News: Bobby Valentine Hosts Dinner to Benefit Autism

    Over 200 people gathered at Bobby Valentine's restaurant, which is located across from Shea Stadium in Queens, to help raise funds for services to help children with autism. Valentine, the manager of the New York Mets, and his restaurant, Bobby V's Sports Bar and Restaurant, hosted a benefit dinner on Feb. 13, which was sponsored by Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC).   • News: Motorcycle Clubs Rival at Hell Raisers Ball

    On Feb. 23, during a Hell Raisers Ball held at the Vanderbilt Catering Hall, located at 1600 Round Swamp Road in Plainview, a confrontation occurred between a group of Pagans and Hells Angels, two rival motorcycle clubs. Nassau County police officers from multiple precincts and Bureau of Special Operations together with 20 New York State Troopers and 50 Suffolk County police officers responded to the scene.
