I am a longtime resident of the Plainview community.

Nassau County deserves better than it has gotten over the past eight years under the questionable leadership of Tom Gulotta and his incompetent bookkeeper Fred Parola. We're all fed up with the scandals (BPA, Legal Aid etc.) and embarrassed by seeing our wealthy county devolve to junk-bond status. With Tom Suozzi as county executive and Howard Weitzman as comptroller, we'll be getting two CPAs in office and the first balanced books in over a decade.
