With the Sept. 11 Democratic Nassau County Executive Primary this Tuesday and the November elections looming around the corner, we are reminded of last year's Presidential election. Maybe the one lesson that can be learned from last year's fiasco is that one vote does count.

All registered democrats in Nassau County should get out on Tuesday and vote for either democratic candidate Assemblyman Thomas DiNapoli or Mayor Thomas Suozzi. So many times people complain about politics and elected officials and more often than not, those same people did not vote. Only if you vote can your voice be heard.

Please vote at local polls on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
