Thomas M. Linich, of Woodbury, formerly of Farmingdale, died on Aug. 15, 2001. He was born in the Bronx, son of the late Mary Mutlak and Anthony Linch. He served during the Korean War in the US Marine Corps. He retired from Doubleday & Co. after 32 years. Husband of Carmela (Granese). Father and father-in-law of Ronald Shields and the late Mary Kathleen and Chuck Gosline, Peg and Greg Mason, Debbie and Jack Sharpe and Michelle and Stu Murrell. Brother of Margaret, Betty, Frank and the late Gertrude. Grandfather of 11. Great-grandfather of two. Arrangements were made by the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Religious service. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
