In a radiant ceremony on June 2 at the Goddard Chapel at Tufts University, Gregg Marshall Greenberg married Jennifer Lynn Polli. The reception was held at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA.

The bride Jennifer (29), the daughter of Celia and Arthur Polli of Winchester, MA, is a financial consultant in the BRS division of Price Waterhouse Coopers. She graduated from Tufts University. She also received her MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU. Her late father was the owner/proprietor of Marketing Grinding Services of Boston and her mother is an antique dealer in Winchester, MA.
The bridegroom, 31, is a vice president at Fleet Bank. Gregg is a graduate of Hicksville Junior High School and Jericho High School. He played in the Hicksville American Soccer League and basketball at CYO at St. Ignatius Church.
He graduated from Amherst College and received his MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University. Gregg is a sometime columnist for the Syosset Jericho Tribune in a column called "Thirtyish." His father, Stanley, is a retired dentist who practiced in Jamaica, Queens and his mother, Lorraine, is a rehabilitation manager for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
The couple met at a party held by a mutual friend seven years ago on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Present at the wedding were friends and soccer teammates from the local area. Glenn and Leanne Rose and Neil and Mary McKenna traveled to Cambridge for the festivities. Also present were Jason Resnick, David and Bridget Weinberger, Richard and Darcy Greene, and Randy and Vicki Diamond.
This wedding announcement was written by the groom's father who is a columnist for the Tribune. This is a direct quote from Stanley Greenberg.
